Stephanie Chapelle’s Biography: Born in Canada, raised in France and Japan, Stéphanie Chapelle earned her Masters in Business and Administration with honours in Louisiana. After moving back to Europe, she began her career in banking and rose to Assistant Vice President five years later. In 2002, Stéphanie moved to Canada and attended the Vancouver Film School. She went on to manage the production and post-production on the documentary Lord of the Brush. In 2005, Stéphanie graduated from the CFC’s Producer lab, which led her on to produce Spoonfed and Face Machine, two of the 2006 Canadian Film Centre NBC Universal short dramatic films. Stéphanie is currently developing the science-fiction thriller Level 16 (NSI Feature First Program, The Harold Greenberg Fund, Telefilm, NBC Universal Development Incubator 2008). Stéphanie is also working as Business Affairs Manager for Markham Street Films.
Spring Note: Stephanie and Spring’s director Lynne attended the Canadian Film Centre together where Lynne co-penned the NBC Universal short film Face Machine that Steph co-produced. When Lynne first heard CODE accepted Spring, she bounced off the walls with excitement, then collapsed into panic and text Stephanie. Knowing the amount of paperwork required to deal with the Olympic organization, this project needed someone who was meticulous beyond belief and calm to the core. No matter what was thrown at her, Steph knocked it out of the park.
