KYE MEECHAN

Biography: Kye studied fine arts and film at Simon Fraser University and, after working a number of years in Vancouver’s film and television industry, attended the Editors’ Lab at the Canadian Film Centre in 2008. His notable credits include award-winning television programs such as Showtime’s popular series THE L WORD and CBC’s long-running drama DA VINCI’S INQUEST. Kye has also edited a number of short films, including HOW EUNICE GOT HER BABY (Ana Valine, director) and D’UNE RIVE A L’AUTRE (Maxime Desmons, director), which have screened at film festivals worldwide.
